About Us

Who We Are:

I started this company three years ago based on my re-discovered love of cycling and passion for college athletics.  My friends and I grew up riding bikes but put them away when high school sports started.  I found mountain biking in grad school but didn’t have the time to dedicate to riding.  It wasn’t until friends of mine convinced me to give road biking a try.  I had one of those ah-ha moments that took me back to the pure joy of riding a bike.  I was reminded of when life was simple and all those hours spent pedaling around the neighborhood.

A buddy of mine wore his Ohio State jersey when we were doing the MS150 Keystone Country Ride and got plenty of comments since we were in Penn State territory.  Most of it was good-hearted smack talk but some of the locals weren’t so friendly.  I was reminded few things in this world evoke such a passionate response in people like college sports.  This got me thinking about the collegiate licensed cycling gear market and what was available.  I looked at the opportunities and it seemed like there were a wide range of products not being offered to the marketplace.  I have always wanted to own my own business and it seemed like a perfect mix of interests.

Time will tell if the market is interested in what we have to offer but I think it is a matter of making it available.  I am proud to offer the first line of women specific gear, jackets, arm and leg warmers for the cycling market.  Penn State and Michigan State were willing to give me a chance and for that I am very grateful.  I think you will find their collegiate brand is well represented in our products.

I hope every time someone puts on one of our products it takes them back to their college days.  There is nothing like a great fall day spent with 100,000 of your closest friends cheering your team on to victory, watching the incomparable Script Ohio, hearing the Lion Roar in Beaver Stadium, attending the world’s largest cocktail party, and the list goes on and on.

Best,

Shawn
