At Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc., we believe in doing business by doing the right things. We believe that businesses have a responsibility to give back to their communities. We understand the risks and opportunities in our industry and work to develop programs and strategies that are ethical, responsible, and transparent.

We are committed to providing our customers with reliable service at competitive prices. We are trustworthy and fair, and treat each customer and channel as a valuable business partner with whom we want to have a long-term relationship.

Basic Standards of Conduct

(a) We will conduct every aspect of our business with honesty, integrity and openness, respecting human rights and the interests of our employees, customers and third parties.

(b) We will respect the legitimate interests of third parties with whom we have dealings in the course of our business.

(c) We will maintain the highest standards of integrity – for example, we will not promise more than we can reasonably deliver or make commitments we cannot or do not intend to keep.

 (d) It is expected all suppliers will adhere to these standards of conduct to maintain a business relationship with Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc.  We review these standards of conduct on a yearly basis with all of our suppliers.

Code of Conduct

Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc. team members are expected to accept certain responsibilities, follow acceptable business principles in matters of conduct, and exhibit a high degree of integrity at all times. This not only involves sincere respect for the rights and feelings of others, but also demands that team members refrain from any behavior that might be harmful to themselves, coworkers, the company, or that might be viewed unfavorably by current or potential customers, or by the public at large. Team members are encouraged to observe the highest standards of professionalism at all times.

Gifts and Hospitality

Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc. does not accept gifts or contributions from individuals or organizations whose core activities will in any way limit our ability to provide our services. Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc. doesn’t offer or accept gifts with the expectation that the business relationship will be altered, or influenced in some way.

Truth in Marketing Practices

Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc. conforms to all truth-in-advertising rules as laid out by the Federal Trade Commission. We make every effort to make our advertising practices clear and easy to understand. Our sales channels must comply with all applicable federal state and local laws.

We have written our contracts in easy to understand, consumer-friendly language.

Supplier’s Code of Conduct

Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc. expects our suppliers, vendors, contractors and others with whom we do business, to operate ethically in business, social and environmental practices. This code sets minimum requirements that suppliers must meet to do business with Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc. In order to comply with these requirements, suppliers should communicate the principles of this code throughout their supply chain. We are currently developing procedures to assure vendor compliance with the following requirements.

Business Ethics: Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc.’s suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements and shall compete fairly in the market place.

Child Labor: Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc.’s suppliers are prohibited from using workers under the legal age of employment.

Forced Labor: Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc.’s suppliers are prohibited from using indentured, slave, bonded or other forced involuntary labor by its Suppliers.

Wages and Benefits: Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc.’s suppliers may not pay less than the minimum wage nor provide less than the applicable benefits in accordance with the law.

Overtime Compensation:  Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc.’s suppliers must follow all applicable regulations regarding overtime compensation for all employees.  The supplier must not less than the acceptable overtime wage.

Working Hours: Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc.’s suppliers must comply with all applicable laws governing the number of maximum work hours.

Health and Safety Guidelines: Suppliers must have a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Non-discrimination: Suppliers shall provide a workplace free of harassment and/or deliberate discrimination, particularly on the basis of race, national origin, skin color, language, religion, political convictions, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability, pregnancy and related medical conditions, military or veteran status, or on any other basis prohibited by applicable law.

Environmental Guidelines: Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc.’s suppliers shall comply with all applicable legal requirements, as well as with any existing industry standards, agreements, and guidelines regarding the environment and sustainability.  Every attempt will be made to increase corporate sustainability and minimize the carbon footprint necessary to do business.  Recycled products will be utilized whenever possible and minimal packaging materials will be employed during shipping.

Harassment or Abuse:  Suppliers must provide a workplace free of harassment or abuse for all employees regardless of sex, gender, age, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy or medical conditions. 

Employee Health and Safety

Collegiate Cycling Gear, Inc. will provide its employees with a safe and healthy work place and follows procedures aimed at safeguarding all employees. Accident prevention and efficiency in production go together; neither should be given priority over the other. Safety is everyone's responsibility. Every supervisor will be expected to devote the time and effort necessary to ensure the safety of employees at all times.
